Process Safety

There are many variables affecting the result of the nitrating and/or Nitrocarburising process and the interactions are very complex. It must be noted that both that the heat treater and the supplier and/or manufacturer of a construction unit influence the nitrating result. 
The knowledge and description of all measured variables with their effects on those which can be obtained
are extreemly important.
The level of knowledge is not however always complete and in individual cases of a treatment lot the connections are often incompletly documented or for technical-economic reasons not determined at all.
For the thermal treatment process nitrating/Nitrocarburieren is recommended therefore, to differentiate the process ability of a heat treatment facility and the processability of the components.

Information, which facilitates the work of the Wärmebehandlers is:

- Data to the used manufacturing auxiliary materials
- Data to used preservatives
- Data for cleaning

-Data for the condition during heat treatment of the construction units
